Derby Officials Still Donít Know the Meaning of the Word ďNO!Ē
 Valley Times                 to Editor                   A-7/15/01

Twice in the last year Derby taxpayers voted down plans for a new high school through referendum. A front page article in the Connecticut Post suggests a possible third referendum.

Why? The Derby school system taught me the meaning of NO was a negative vote or voter. Itís obvious! The mayor and elected officials were not paying attention that day, or missed class altogether!

I have more respect for my dog because she even understands what the word NO means. Why should the taxpayers suffer for a mayorís inability and lack of experience to run the smallest city in the state of Connecticut?
